This is a journey into motherhood for the second time. The first time the traveller was an unwed teenager. This second time around the journey involves a husband and the traveler is much older and world wearier. The first child is also now a teenager making a nice age difference between kids. The traveler is probably crazy for embarking on this journey a second time after so many years.
Yesterday I spent most of the day hiding from most coverage of commemorations of the day as well as the documentaries. I will never forget so in my opinion I didn't need all the news stories or the President to remind me what a horrible tragic day this was 5 years ago. It will not bring back all the dead. Let's honor their memory in another way or better yet, lets take better steps to ensure this does not happen again.
